Working with Simone is always a delight and has taken my work to new levels. Not only has the accent and my skill improved but also my confidence to challenge the script to suit the authenticity of a Trinidadian Accent. Simone is so encouraging and is one of the kindest and most generous people with her time. She brings authenticity to the work and an insight that is invaluable when taking on a character and culture that might not be your own.

I feel honoured to have worked with Simone on this project. She was kind, patient, and had many resources that could help me learn a Trinidadian accent during sessions as well as in my own time. We went through my whole script and paid attention to every detail, from the rhythm to certain pronunciations and phrases. Simone set a calm and safe space where I was able to play and explore. Highly Recommend!

Coming to England was my professional debut, and with that came the challenge of learning a great deal in a short time. The Trinidadian accent was a crucial part of bringing authenticity to the story and Simone was dedicated beyond measure, ensuring that every member of the cast delivered it with precision and integrity in every scene and song.

Simone not only guided me through this process with patience, expertise and encouragement, but she also made herself fully available to the entire company, working tirelessly to elevate our performances.  She pours her heart and soul into the work and into the people delivering it, making her not just a phenomenal coach, but also an inspiring mentor.

It is with the utmost admiration and gratefulness that I highly recommend Simone as a Trinidadian linguist, vocal coach and mentor. Any performer or production lucky enough to work with her will benefit from her exceptional skill, unwavering dedication and generous spirit.

Transformative accent & vocal coaching

Highly Recommend Simone Sauphanor!

Working with Simone Sauphanor has been an absolutely incredible experience. As a Jamaican, I always felt that mastering a Trinidadian accent would be nearly impossible. It seemed complicated, and I worried that I was merely mimicking rather than truly embodying it. However, Simone completely transformed my approach.

Her expertise goes far beyond just teaching the technical elements of an accent. She has a deep understanding of the voice as an instrument and tailors her coaching to each individual's body, temperament, and personality. Simone's method is holistic. She doesn't just help you sound authentic, she ensures that your accent work is emotionally rich and deeply connected to character.

She is not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly empathetic and compassionate. Her ability to guide you with precision and care makes all the difference. Thanks to her, I was able to perform a Trinidadian accent convincingly, receiving compliments and recognition from native speakers.

Beyond accents, Simone is also an exceptional vocal coach. She worked with me on both a Trinidadian and a British accent, and the results were outstanding. Her training helped me deliver performances that felt natural, confident, and true to the character I was portraying.

If you are looking for accent coaching whether for a Trinidadian or British, or need vocal coaching that enhances both your technique and emotional depth, I wholeheartedly recommend Simone Sauphanor. Her knowledge, skill and dedication makes her a true genius in this field. I will continue to turn to her for guidance and encourage anyone serious about their craft to do the same.
